What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Thank you for exploring your healthcare options. This shows that somewhere deep in your heart you believe that you can feel healthy and you’re exploring the ways.

Naturopathic medicine is a natural primary healthcare for the entire family. It integrates standard medical diagnosis with natural therapies to prevent and treat physical as well as mental/emotional illnesses. This means that you can visit your naturopathic doctor with a wide range of conditions that you are having.

Naturopathic doctors use similar  procedures (i.e. physical exams, blood work, etc.) as other other healthcare providers for diagnoses, but are naturally focused. This means that the pills, capsules and other modalities used are naturally based.

If you would like to try a treatment that addresses the root cause of your problem,  and would like to have an in depth session with your health care provider, then you may benefit from booking a free 15 minute consult and learning more about how naturopathic medicine can help you. Most extended health insurances cover the cost of your naturopathic visit.

Naturopathic Doctor

Welcome and thank you for being here.

My passion in life is to guide you as you grow on your journey to your optimal level of health and well-being.  My commitment to myself is to witness your joy as you achieve a great state of well-being, and as you inspire others around you to do the same for themselves.

I am a licensed naturopathic doctor.  After doing an honours double major degree in Kinesiology and Health Science & Psychology; I did a masters degree and then decided  to study naturopathic medicine. Since then, I have been treating a variety of conditions.  I also have extra training in facial rejuvenation and acupuncture as an alternative to Botox or fillers. So, there are patients who visit me for cosmetic purposes as well.

I have a great appreciation for a functional and an individualized approach of care when treating my patients.  Since everybody’s genetic makeup is different, our responses to disease and treatment are different as well. For this reason, I believe in spending time with my patients to come up with the best individualized treatment plan.

I also love the relational aspect of naturopathic medicine. My greatest reward is getting to know my patients, gaining their trust through continuity of care, and then having the privilege of seeing the results as they start to experience differences in their lives.  It’s a great pleasure to help patients make sense of their undifferentiated complaints and figure out what might be happening. I find having a chance to prevent, detect, or intervene upon illness before long-term complications develop very fulfilling.

Currently, I maintains the following professional naturopathic memberships:
